The Legal Stuff - Event Terms & Conditions



The following are the specifically expressed terms and conditions for all events. whether staged live and/or online, involving Round Table Promotions. With acceptance of entrance to each specific event, all attendees agree to the following terms and conditions:
  1. All events staged, hosted and or sponsored by Round Table Promotions (henceforth known as RP) are subject to terms and conditions. Failure on the part of any attendee to adhere to such is grounds for each violating attendee to surrender their admission privileges to each event.
  2. All admissions granted or tickets sold are considered to be a bearer instrument or permit for entry and access into a private event, with no further conditions inferred, stated or expressed. 
  3. RP reserves the right to uphold standards of attendance and decorum, and enforce such standards as deemed appropriate during a given event.  
  4. Only payment in full and in advance guarantees any admission to any RP event. Non-binding indications of one’s interest or possible attendance at events by interested attendees using event notices on common social media platforms, such as Facebook, LinkedIn and others, without pre-payment of admission or fulfillment of conditions are not considered reservations by RP, are not considered to be binding in anyway and do not guarantee entrance into any event RP is hosting, producing or sponsoring. In addition, arrival beyond the announced starting time to any event may result in surrendering the right to admission for that specific event. 
  5. Access in any specific event is limited to the area assigned and designated for the event. RP, the host location, the event sponsors or other event coordinators are not responsible for unauthorized acts of ingress by attendees into clearly marked private or generally unauthorized areas. In addition, attendees who ingress into these unauthorized areas may be asked to surrender their admission privileges to the event.
  6. All attendees are subject to any and all polices, rules and conditions set forth specifically by the owners and managers of any specific venue or property. In addition, attendees are subject to all local ordinances, state and federal laws and may be prosecuted for violations of such.
  7. Unless authorized in advance, all attendees are required to pay the stated face value admission price as exchange for admission into such events. Failure to pay for admission to an event is considered to be fraudulent entry and each attendee may be subject to civil and legal prosecution for such. Any individual act of duress to force admission is cause to surrender their admission privileges and that of members of their party to the event.
  8. RP may offer discounts or promotional pricing to selected attendees as a marketing consideration or incentive. Any offer of such is for a limited time, considered to be promotion and subject to the terms and conditions stated in the offering. If an attendee opts not to fulfill any specific condition of the promotional offer, such as not paying online or in advance for the promotional benefit, the entire offer is considered null and void and will be specifically withdrawn for them by RP.
  9. RP is not responsible for any errors or incorrect information published by any third party group, event calendar, website, blog page, newspaper or magazine, broadcast or other form of communication with regards to our events, including errors for admission costs, event times, dates, locations or elements of the event. Official RP communications, including our social media and web sites, is our official word on all events.
  10. Each attendee is expected to behave in a manner consistent with appropriate conduct for such events. Any behavior by each attendee deemed inappropriate by management may result in both surrendering their current admission privileges and future non admission to any and all events.
  11. RP uses third party technology solutions as a part of its business operations. Due care is taken to prevent ingress of any third party computer viruses, cookies, trojan horses or other unauthorized applications. RP&P is not responsible in any way for ingress of these on to any computer accessing our online presence or third party application we may at anytime use.
  12. All speakers and presenters are considered scheduled to appear. RP can not and does not guarantee the attendance of any individual and reserves the right to substitute appropriate speakers or presenters in case of no show or non attendance.
  13. No audio or visual recording of any event is permitted whatsoever without proper pre-authorization from RP Management. Any recording will require the signature of a written release form.
  14. Any admission may not be bartered or resold for a value greater then 1.25% of the face value of the event’s admission. Any charges over and above this are considered the property of RP and are to be remitted in full to RP within 7 business days of the event. Failure to do so will result in either civil and/or criminal action.
  15. The terms "Third Thursday Round Table" "RP" "Round Table Promotions" and any derivations of these terms where the words Round and Table are either used separate or together to denote our specific business or events are considered the service marks, trademarks and copyright properties of RP. Any unauthorized use of these, photographs from any event, and the RP logo/s may result in criminal or civil action.
  16. RP is not responsible whatsoever for any actions that are as a result of a demonstrated difference of opinion by attendees that excels into either acts of physical violence or perceived emotional harm. Such actions may be referred to local authorities for prosecution under appropriate laws and statutes. In addition, RP is not responsible for the intake of alcoholic beverages or use of controlled substances by those in attendance at each event.
  17. RP can not and will not release the personal information of attendees at an event, including email addresses, telephone numbers, addresses or other information acquired in the registration of other attendees. It is considered in the attendee's best interest to voluntarily meet as many persons in attendance and ask their consent to contact them separate of each event. 
  18. Networking may occur as a result of meeting other attendees at an event. RP can not make assurances for the authenticity of those in attendance, the quality of goods and services they provide or their actions with regards to those products and services. All attendees are expected to do their own due diligence with regards to such as part of their admission, and with their paid admission can and will not hold RP liable for such.
  19. Any admission purchased is valid for the specific date and time indicated at the time of purchase. Admissions are limited to the stated capacity of any given room, venue or place where an event is being staged. Refunds for any and all admissions are granted solely at the discretion of RP management no later than 30 minutes after an event has formally started. All decisions are considered final.
  20. At any event where meals are served and table service is conducted, guests are fully responsible for the purchase of their own meal, including beverage and gratuity. Admission is considered a separate expense for entry into the day's event. Any guest engaging wait staff for services, including objects that are either free or nominal in charge, is expected to offer a gratuity for services rendered. Continued abuse of this is considered grounds for surrender their admission privileges to the event.
  21. At any event where food is served, RP is not responsible whatsoever for any illness caused by allergies to ingredients, incorrectly prepared food or other conditions as a result of the care, preparation, staging and serving of such. Any claims relative to food must be made with either the venue management, food services provider or any organization specifically involved with the preparation and serving of such.
  22. These terms are considered legally binding in full. Admission in to any and each specific event on the part of an individual constitutes full, voluntary and universal acceptance of these terms. 


RP reserves the right to update and modify these conditions at anytime without prior written or broadcasted notice.
